I was on a stable dose of seroquel for almost a year, I didn't notice any side effects and I was very comfortable with it. I would highly recommend it.
Was on the lowest dose of seroquel (50mg) for 6 months, and then switched to lower dose (60mg) to have no side effects. My psychiatrist prescribed me 100mg of quetiapine (as Seroquel), and I took it for 2 weeks and my symptoms went away. It was very frustrating. I have been on this medication for 12 years and it helped me tremendously.
I started taking seroquel and had side effects, I had no other symptoms, and I wasn't able to sleep, my blood pressure was low, and my cholesterol was very low. I have had a bad night. I am not going to take it again, but I am hopeful that I will not have to.
Condition: OtherI was on a stable dose of seroquel for about 6 months and then switched to a lower dose (60mg) to have no side effects. I have been on it for about a year and I am very satisfied with it.

Seroquel (quetiapine) is a type of prescription medication called an antipsychotic drug. These medications often treat conditions that can cause psychosis or losing touch with reality, but they also help with different kinds of depression and anxiety—especially when first-line treatments aren’t enough.
There are two types of antipsychotic drugs. “Typical” antipsychotics refer to the first generation of these drugs, which were developed in the 1950s. “Atypical” antipsychotics, which were introduced in the 1990s, are considered second-generation drugs. They are just as effective as typical antipsychotics but are much less likely to cause complications such as movement and motor control problems.
Seroquel (quetiapine) is an atypical antipsychotic. It changes how certain chemicals (dopamine and serotonin) work in the brain.
Dopamine is a “chemical messenger” (neurotransmitter) that delivers instructions to nerve cells in the brain. It helps control mood, pleasure, motivation, memory, attention, and other functions. Serotonin is also a chemical messenger. It’s sometimes called the feel-good chemical because it helps regulate your mood and sense of well-being.
In people with depression or psychosis, dopamine and serotonin signals don’t work properly. Seroquel (quetiapine) works by blocking these abnormal signals.
Typical antipsychoticsestinal symptomsQuetiapine is available in several forms:
It’s important to tell your healthcare provider about any prescription or over-the-counter (OTC) medicines, vitamins, or herbal supplements you are taking before starting quetiapine.
They can usually determine whether or not you are at risk for movement problems, urinary retention, or even dangerous mental/mood disorders. Quetiapine should also be used with caution in people with a history of heart disease or high blood pressure.
When prescribing quetiapine, it is important to tell your healthcare provider about all the prescription and OTC medications you are taking. This will avoid any interactions that could cause serious problems.
Most people who take quetiapine won’t experience any changes in their symptoms. But some of them can cause mood changes, such as decreased interest in sex, difficulty initiating ejaculation, or changes in semen levels.
This is because the drugs slow down how rapidly nerve cells convert into this chemical messenger. That process takes time and sometimes evenopes patients with depression or psychosis. Some of the biggest dangers of first-line quetiapine are movement problems, urinary retention, and even dangerous mental/mood changes.
If you think you’re having a medical emergency, call the your emergency room at any time. The closest emergency-room doctors to your own homes can be nerve-sparingly close. That’s because the nearest emergency-room doctors are in person and can be extremely helpful.
If you have a seizure (seizure of an object that you took for a long time), call your healthcare provider right away.
Quetiapine should only be used if you are taking directed amounts of the drugs. If you have a known history of liver disease or heart problems, quetiapine may not be safe for you. Because the effects are so gradual, you may take the drugs for a few weeks before the full benefits are realized.
If you have high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or heart disease, talk with your healthcare provider. This may mean you take an antipsychotic drug with a history of stroke, heart disease, liver disease, or had a stroke that was not as bad as you think. Quetiapine is not intended to treat that condition.
Shake the packages well before taking them. If the drugs are on the market for a long time, they may cause serious problems. Contact your healthcare provider if you have a serious side effect of the antipsychotic drug.

There is a big difference between Seroquel and Zyprexa. Zyprexa is a brand name for the antipsychotic drugs (such as Seroquel) that are used to treat schizophrenia. Seroquel is the name for the brand name medication, and it is a brand name drug for the same class of drugs that are used to treat bipolar disorder. Zyprexa is also the name of another antipsychotic medication, called olanzapine, which is used to treat major depressive disorder in adults. Zyprexa, or Seroquel, is the generic name for the antipsychotic drug olanzapine. Zyprexa is a newer brand name drug. Zyprexa works by helping to regulate how much of a chemical called dopamine in the brain takes to produce its effects.

Themedications work differently than other antipsychotics. In addition to acting as adrugto manage the symptoms of schizophrenia, olanzapine works by helping to control the balance of chemicals called dopamine in the brain. In order to achieve the same result, it is important that both drugs are taken at the same time, as antipsychotics are known to affect dopamine levels in the brain.
In order to have apositive effect, both drugs should be taken as prescribed. It is very important that a dose is taken to have a positive effect. It is very important that the dose is taken to have a negative effect. It is very important that the dose of each medication is used as a whole to have a positive effect.
Zyprexa works by acting as aon the dopamine levels in the brain. The most common side effects of Zyprexa are drowsiness and weight gain. Other side effects include dry mouth and constipation.
Zyprexa can cause drowsiness in people who are sensitive to certain medications. This is because Zyprexa can increase the amount of dopamine in the brain, leading to drowsiness and weight gain. It can also increase the risk of certain conditions, such as schizophrenia. If you experience any of these side effects, you should stop taking Zyprexa and contact your doctor.
If you are taking olanzapine, you should not stop taking it until you are sure that your condition is well controlled. It can be very uncomfortable and painful to swallow, so if you experience any of these symptoms, you should call your doctor.
If you experience side effects that are not listed above, please talk to your doctor or pharmacist. They may have more information about what is happening.
